Commemorative Book and Annual Report concept development / Print Management & Production

When Automotive Association celebrated their centennial milestone as one of the oldest associations in Asia, Lexis Branding was commissioned the task of researching, writing and designing their 100th Commemorative Book.

The task was much more difficult than we realised. This was because AA Singapore lost some 30 years of archives between 1940s to 1970s - the glory years of AA, due to a fire that destroyed the original AA building. To fill in the gap, we played detective by tracking down active members in Singapore and Malaysia who had valuable photographs, post cards, news prints and just any memorabilias relating to AA in those periods.

Our consultants worked with a team of historian researchers who painstakingly combed all newspapers and national archives to uncover all news and information relating to AA. The resultant commemorative book was highly praised for not just our researched efforts but a compelling and beautiful book capturing the Automotive Association at their very best through the years.
